GURU RAM DAS

Guru Ram Das was the 4th of the Sikh Gurus. He came into the world as a humble man who sat outside the temple washing the feet of weary travels

He is widely accepted of the patron of yogis and yoginis everywhere as well as American Sikhs. The raj yoga of Guru Ram Das the idea of detachment in the midst of worldly life of maya or illusion.

Guru Ram Das founded the city of Amritsar in India. It is the sacred place of the Sikh people.

The Golden Temple in Amritsar open in all four directions to the four winds so all people may enter.

Yogi Harbhajan Singh Khalsa (Yogi Bhajan) encouraged devotion to Guru Ram Das around the world.

Guru Ram Das exposed the social injustice in the turbulent times that he lived.
