Best time to master it and aquire the gifts is to practice for 1 1/2 hours.
(One begins by fixing the eyes on the space between the two eyebrows and allows the eyelids to find their own natural resting place. Eyes will tend to remain slightly open with the whites of the eyes visible)
Come into Easy Pose with Frontal gaze (frontal gaze - the attention is focused at the third or single eye (ajna chakra) at the root of the nose between the eyebrows. Do not stare but gaze gently.
The single or third eye at the sun center is the seat of the mind by using this gaze the mind is more easily controlled than in other gazes (as described in ancient texts). It opens a part of the brain. The tips of the teeth are together. The tongue should touch the palate.
Chant and vibrate
mentally "SA TA NA MA"
Project this mantra out from the third eye.
