TATVA YOGA (the yoga of the mudra)

The Mudra for the New Beginnings.

Sat Jiwan Singh devoted the last 30 years to the intense study of tatva yoga the yoga of mudras.

This is Sat Jiwan Singh's suggestion for a Mudra to bring in the New Year or smoothly bring changes in our lifeHere is the meditation and the mudra

MUKULA MUDRA or Closed Lotus Mudra by it's more common name denotes a bud of lotus or water-lilly.

The elbows are into the ribs and the forearms are parallel to the ground, the hands are palms up with the fingers pointing up 120 degrees apart (about three feet)

INHALE DEEPLY and EXHALE completely HOLD THE BREATH OUT, Adjust the speed of the chant by the length on time you can hold the breath out until a medium speed.

16 counts and chant "sa (one beat) ta(one beat) na(one beat) ma(one beat)"

sa ta na ma

sa ta na ma

sa ta na ma

sa ta na ma

INHALE, EXHALE and repeat.

I would suggest a minimum of 11 minutes to start

This will make you fearless and able to excel in life.

It is a excellent meditation to start the new year.

To hear the chant allow the sound file time to load and click below. Because it's a wav file that most computers can hear it sound choppy until it loads.

Please be patient while the sound file loads.
